The British Nation is known world-wide for its expertise in pageantry and ceremony.
Occasions include:- Royal, State and Civic events and celebrations whose procedures are determined by centuries of traditional social order and precedence.
These traditions are also employed at weddings, formal banquets, balls and dinners from private or commercial sources. There are also presentations, receptions and festivals of all cultures where a degree of formality and precise organisation is required. Every one of these functions uses rules of protocol and the time honoured procedures and etiquette. The responsibility of employing them falls on to the shoulders of the trained Professional Toastmaster who acts a the Director of Ceremonies. |
